Bucharest, 22nd July 2009- In order to offer new and the best quality services to customers, Piraeus Bank Romania announces that, between 24-26th July 2009, changes will be made for improving IT systems of the Bank.
Within this period, Piraeus Bank will continue to offer services to its customers with a few restrictions:
 
In this scope:
-Friday, 24th July 2009, all the Piraeus Bank branches will have work program until 16.00 hour. Unirii and Afumati branches will not have work program on Saturday, 25th July 2009 .
-Shop & Cash debit cards can be used at ATMs for cash withdrawal and balance inquiry and can not be used for merchants’ payments between 24th July 2009, 20:00 hour and 27th July 2009, 6:00 hour.
-Piraeus Online Banking service will not be available between 24th July 2009, 20:00 hour and 27th July 2009, 6:00 hour.
 
ATMs network of Piraeus Bank will process the cash withdrawal operations and balance inquiry also for cards issued by Piraeus Bank and for the cards issued by other banks under Visa and Mastercard logo.
The POSs network of the Bank will be operational  in all this period for credit cards issued by Piraeus Bank and also for the cards issued by other banks.
Piraeus Visa Classic and Visa Exclusive Gold credit cards, issued by Piraeus Bank, can be used in above mentioned period, also at merchants and at PBR ATMs and also at other banks’ networks.

At the end of June 2009, Piraeus Bank Romania has a network of 241 ATMs and 763 POSs.
